Engadget has published review of Asus Eee PC T91. Overall, editors seem to be not very happy with T91. Applications are nice and fun but not very useful. Also touchscreen is not that good (navigation is slow at times and touches do not always get recognized). Price is a little high too. Currently Eee PC T91 is selling for $499. The price is ok for a tablet PC with real keyboard, but pretty high for a standart netbook.

Asus Eee PC 1002HA made it to Laptopmag again. This time it is fully functional module, so we can take a look not only at Eee PC 1002HA design but its performance as well.

Review of Eee PC 1002HA can be summarized in just one sentence: This replacement for the popular Eee PC 1000H is slimmer and definitely more attractive, but its battery life could be better.

Although Laptopmag praises 1002HA looks, they recommend Samsung NC10 because it offers a better keyboard and much longer endurance for the same price.

Maybe it is Vista to blame…The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 certainly breaks new ground by offering a bigger screen than any other netbook without adding much weight, and you’ll get very good endurance with the six-cell battery. But while we applaud Dell’s efforts to make Vista easier to use with its flashy dock, the Mini 12 doesn’t have the right hardware to handle this OS… We suggest that buyers hold off until next month when Dell offers the Mini 12 with Windows XP or its customized Ubuntu Linux operating system.

Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Pros

Glossy 12.1-inch screen

Slim design

Excellent battery life with six-cell battery

Nearly full-size keyboard

Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Cons

Sluggish performance under Vista

Slow hard drive

Quiet speakers

There is an undeniable charm with the petite size of these netbooks, especially when they can handle real-world computing tasks with surprising efficiency. The IdeaPad S10 is a definitely a solid start for Lenovo to get into the netbook market and it definitely has a lot going for it… Lenovo S10 will be one of the more popular netbook models this holiday season.

However it succeeds because, for most people, that’s not what a netbook needs to be.

For $429.99 you’re getting a capable internet and messaging machine that’s durable, reliable and straightforward to use, together with enough battery life to demand, useage dependent, only one lunchtime recharge to get you through the work day. Compared with so-called “luxury” or feature netbooks, such as ASUS’ own S101 or N10, the 1000HA makes a far more convincing case.

T3.com has a Asus Eee PC S101 review and writes: Blindingly obvious upon first sight, the Eee PC S101 from ASUS is a world apart from the previous Fisher Price-esque models…

Never has typing on an Eee being so comfortable, with the keys being well built and firmly mounted, and 95 per cent full size. Trust us, this matters hugely, particularly to a normal-sized human who doesn’t have elf-like hands like the previous Eees demanded. The touchpad is just as impressive, a good size and it responded well. There is a single-strip mouse button that has dual-click functions and while it’s a bit on the smaller side of life, we’re giving it a solid thumbs-up.

Among the cons of Asus Eee PC S101 only battery life is mentioned. Go Eee go!
